OJS Academy is an independent provider of Open Journal Systems (OJS) services and academic publishing support. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), DOAJ, Elsevier (Scopus), Clarivate (Web of Science), the U.S. National Library of Medicine (PubMed), Crossref or Google. Their names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used on this site only to describe the standards and platforms we work with.
Guides and website content
Our guides and articles are provided for general information. OJS, hosting environments and indexing criteria change over time, so:
- always back up your database, files directory and
public/folder before following technical instructions; - test changes on a staging copy where possible; and
- check the official documentation for your exact OJS version.
We take care to keep content accurate, but we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage caused by applying it to your own systems without professional assistance.
No indexing or ranking guarantees
Decisions about inclusion in DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, Google Scholar or any other database are made solely by those organisations. Search engine rankings are decided by search engines. OJS Academy prepares journals to meet published requirements and best practices, but we never guarantee acceptance, indexing, rankings or citation outcomes, and nothing on this website should be read as such a guarantee.
Services
The scope, timeline and deliverables for any project are agreed with you in writing before work begins. That written agreement governs the project. Where we need access to your hosting, server or OJS installation, you confirm that you are authorised to grant it.
Intellectual property
The text, design and original graphics on this website belong to OJS Academy unless stated otherwise. You may cite short passages with a link back to the source page. Please do not republish entire guides without permission. Policy templates on this site may be adapted freely for your own journal.
Acceptable use
Do not use this website or its contact channels to send spam, malicious code or unlawful content, or to attempt to access systems you are not authorised to use.
Links to other websites
